I can't view original docs in full size
Whenever I select to view the original document I get a big white screen with this on the top. There is nowhere to select to view %100 scale or change the screen in anyway. I'm using chrome and have deleted my cache and cookies with no luck. I have also tried using microsoft edge. I can't do my research properly if I cant view original document and zoom in and out. Please help.

I have not been able to re-create this error, but you're not the first to complain about it. I'm pretty sure it's the slow-as-mollasses viewer deciding to just stop and take a permanent breather. I don't know how to give it a kick in the rear.
There may be a workaround, however: I can switch to the old viewer by editing the URL, deleting the question mark and everything after it. The thing I don't know is whether you have a question mark in the URL in the view that you get. (As I said, I am not able to re-create it.)
As a specific example: I go to an index detail page (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6V9V-T7X9), and all it has for the event place is "Magyarország" (gee, duh, a Hungarian civil registration happened in Hungary?), so I click the image. I get the new viewer/editor (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9T2M-3LF?view=index&personArk=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3A6V9V-T7X9&action=view), which even after several minutes of waiting still says "Unknown Image Group" instead of telling me where the heck this is from. (I can see that the image says Ruszt, but where is that?)
So I truncate the URL (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9T2M-3LF?i=216) and get the old catalog/waypoints viewer, which tells me the county as well as the town, nice and simply.
I hope the URL-editing trick works for you.

Having the same problem and I have not found a workaround other than to find the source image in another place. Will try the URL edit suggestion. This is a real problem issue.

I would like to point out to the programmers that whoever thought the ribbon presentation of the original documents was a good idea didn't actually try it out. When I click on the individual document I would like to see, nothing happens. The only option is a right click which brings up a thumbnail which is complete gibberish. When trying to solve a research question, it is often necessary to look at the actual document, not just the indexed information. Please fix this!
