Two Oakland Cemeteries in the same county
There are two Oakland Cemeteries in Indiana County, Pennsylvania
If one merely puts in Oakland Cemetery only one appears as a suggested Standardization ie Oakland Cemetery, Deckers Point, Grant Township, Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States
The other Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum, Indiana, Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States does not appear as a suggested standardization.
However if one puts Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum, it does appear as a standardization.
I think both suggestions should appear when one merely puts in Oakland Cemetery. I know I've incorrectly selected the Deckers Point thinking that was the correct one when it should have been the Mausoleum one. If they both appear, it will hopefully prompt the user to figure out which one is correct

Here is where you can go to suggest a new place for standardization.

Go to the Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum: https://www.familysearch.org/research/places/?pagenum=1&pagesize=20&text=Oakland%20Cemetery%20and%20Mausoleum,&focusedId=12148141
Are there two Oakland Cemeteries in Indiana County? If they are the same place you'll have to submit a request similar to the steps below except add the Place ID of the place you want to combine (to the place you want to keep) and request to combine the locations because they are doubles.
If there are two different cemeteries this is a simple way to add Oakland Cemetery as an alternate name.
- Look for the shaded tab with the pencil icon bottom right of map. "Improve This Place"
- Click the icon and a pop up box opens.
- Select an Option and select "Alternate Name."
- Add the alternate name/s in the box. "Briefly describe what should change."
- Add a link with the information. "Source to show the change (URL)."
- Add your email. "Your email"
- Submit.
You would do this for adding a Start or End Dates, Changing the location, adding a link, correct a spelling etc...
The changes will take some time (weeks or months??). You'll receive an email when the change has been made or denied.
Hope this helps.

You can also go to the Places group here in communities to post more complex suggestions.
Checking this morning, it looks like someone had a free minute and that this suggestion was pretty simple and straightforward:
because a change has been made in the Places database so that both come up. I don't see the change in Family Tree yet, but it might take a day for the update to migrate to Family Tree.
