See My Own Ordinances on FamilySearch

We've seen that suggestion here a few times before. However, it's the position of the Church Membership Department that information about ordinances for the living belongs in Member Tools and the Church website for members. The Membership Department does not share that information with FamilySearch.

How about displaying a message to that effect when a person navigates to their own ordinances page, with a similar note for any person that might be a member of the church and still living, rather than the generic "not available" and the direction to contact FamilySearch Support. Apparently, Support would not be able to tell them anything except to use the Member Tools...

David, that is a great idea!! I don’t know how hard that is to program it. We do receive calls quite often about that.

A suggestion that was raised in another section of the Community was to just do away with any display on the ordinance page for living people. Something like this photoshop mockup i just threw together

Love it Gordon. Have you shared that with the engineers?

The other person suggested it. Otherwise, they should see it here, again.
