Error linking to source

After Compare, I kept getting Error linking to source message.

I tried again direct from the record https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VYWN-PDZ

But this time I did NOT attach the residence which is quite long

"Seldovia Recording District - No. 26, Seldovia Recording District - No. 26, Anchor Point, Aurora, Bear Cove, Cape Starichkof, Coal Bay, Halibut Cove, Kachemak Bay, Port Chatham, Port Dick, Port Graham, Portlock, Sadie Cove, Sunday Harbor, Tutka Bay, Windy Bay, Seldovia Village, Homer, 3-31, Third Judicial Division, Alaska Territory, United States"

to LR9M-KZ1​ and the record attached.

When I then tried to attach to his wife, GVM7-X73 WITH the residence it failed. Could the field length be too long?

Hello FLQR

I see that you attached the 1950 Census to VYWN-PDZ, but without the Residence detail.

I tried to copy and add a Residence for his wife with the full Census Tract description and it did not give me an error message.

I have found that Source Linker is more finicky that adding a manual source.
