Male and female ancestors transposed

The order of the names of my great grandmother and great grandfather has been transposed,

ie the female appears first and the male is then below her, contrary to all my other family records in FamilySearch.

How can I correct this?

Go to the person page for Petrus Johannes Badenhorst GHTS-41J. Then in the Parents and Siblings area of the Family Members area, click on the pencil icon to the right of Petrus (where he is shown as a child of Wessel and Maria). You'll see the below image pop up. Use the "Switch Parent Positions" option to swap the order of Maria and Wessel as his parents.

Im sure others will provide details as to how to change this - I believe there is indeed a way

Though Im sure you could correct it - by disconnecting and reconnecting.

But my undertsanding also is - it is not technically and currently considered wrong - simply that for the last 100 years we are used to seeing the male on top and the female on the bottom . . . there have been some changes in recent years that under certain circumstances show them in reverse order. I am not clear if that is considered a bug or not.

any comments from moderators that know more on the subject than I do?
