I am indexing Petition for Naturalization and the batch received is the second page for the person in the previous batch and first page only for the next person (second page is in the next batch). Need guidance on how this should be handled. Was going to return the batch, but there is no spot for providing feedback so it can be corrected.

US, New England—Petitions for Naturalization, 1787–1906 [Part D][MQZK-67B]

Thanks for the help.

You index any entry that begins on an image that's in your batch. So for that batch, since Oaths of Allegiance and Petitions for Naturalization are both among the types of record to be indexed, you'd index one entry per image: Harry's Oath from the first one, and Robert's Petition from the second one. You'll need to delete one entry from each image, and you'll need to consult the reference images to get the date for Robert from the Affidavit of Witnesses on the next page.

Image 1 is an Oath of Allegiance, which you index.

With Image 2, you will index this using the +1 Reference Image on your vertical toolbar to locate the Affidavit of Witness date as the Record Date.
