How to add the back side of a photo along with the front photo?
I want to add photos, front and back, and have them linked, or entered as one thing, not as separate memories. Any way to do that? Sometimes the handwritten notes on the back add a lot of meaning to the photo. I don’t want the front and back separated, both sides are important to share as one item, just as the real photo is one item with info on both sides of it.

Most photo editing software can do that and keep it as an easy-to-see image. PDF can be tricky in some programs/websites, requiring the user to download to view.
I use irfanview, which is a free program, to connect fronts and backs of photos or certificates.

Save as pdf, which can be multi-page.

Like Aine, I use Irfanview (since it's free). In addition to "merging photos" to connect front and back, it does a good job of adding a title (or description) on the photo. For what it's worth.

Thank you! Aine or melville thank you for telling me about merge in IrfanView. I downloaded that, and googled how to merge in IrfanView, and will post them in the memories on Family Search.

another option in place of scanning the front and back (assuming that what is on the back is some sort of description of what is on the front) - - is merely to add a digital label to the front of the digital image.
Here is one example: https://www.familysearch.org/photos/artifacts/72986297
I have never used Irfanview - but I wonder if it has that capability.
I use FREE Photoscape - not the same as photoshop for digital labeling.
most any digital image editing software allows for digital labeling.
