Hello,

Does anyone here know if the messaging system at MyHeritage only works with an actual paid membership? I used to be able to message people who messaged me via MyHeritage, but it is not working. Maybe that is for the "next level" of paid account?

Hi Sandy,

I am a church member. Just checked mine and I am able to send messages. When you click on the link from FamilySearch make sure that you are actually logged in to My Heritage.

I think what may have been happening is that the person who I wanted to message had a setting turned off or their private website had expired. I’m not sure, but my friend and I found a round about way to send a message.
