BUG: Source Linking Add To Family Tree Dialog Pre-populates the wrong 'Last Name'

Linking a marriage Record (and other types of sources) click Add which displays the 'Add To Family Tree' dialog. The 'Last Name' is not being populated with the Last Name of the person being added (see attached image). The person's name is 'Jo A Reed', Reed being the last name BUT the 'Last Name' populates with the other person's last name.

I have seen similar but not exactly the same. I suspect both names are in the underlying indexed form and one is being picked up by the displaying page. One good reason that humans still get to be involved, and the whole program not be turned over to AI.

For this same reason, I highly recommend opening up the Record link and even more so the Image link when available - as there is often more detail in the record than was indexed and then utilized in the simple Source Linker page.

Think of this as a starting point, not the end all, be all.

I found another new BUG tonight with these same dialogue boxes. After filling out the 'Add to Family Tree' and clicking 'Create New Person' the box disappears but person not added. Go through process a 2nd time and after clicking Create, the matching profile is found (so the new person was created just not added to the family). Secondly, the child was being added to a parent with an existing spouse whom is not the parent of this child, and despite selecting 'unknown spouse' in the 'Source Linker' Box to remove the named one, the child was added to BOTH (the existing named spouse and the new 'no spouse'). Thinking I'd made a mistake, I tried to then remove relationship between spouse and child and was unable - I tried from both the child, parent, and spouse profiles. The action does not appear in history and I was able to fully recreate condition with a second child. Issue only started a couple hours ago after working on site all day so something clearly changed or not working in backend. I also noticed when checking browser history there's a double-click ad entry between each of my attempts to remove relationship which I haven't seen before.

The New Source Linker--soon to be released--is going to let us edit the sources. For example, we will be able to put in names, etc. This is going to have a huge impact on our adding sources. Look for it in November, if all goes well.
