Increase audio file size limit in memories for cassette tape recordings
The audio file size limit of 15MB is too small to handle cassette tape recordings.
I have voice family recordings from 60 minute cassette tapes (30 minutes per side). An mp3 formatted file at 128 kbps (recommended bit rate in FamilySearch uploading audio files help topic) of one 30 minute side is around 28MB. To get 30 minutes of recording under 15MB I need to reduce the bit rate to 64kbps which is reducing the quality of the recording as well as the file size.
So to keep the recording quality at 128 kbps I have to split each 30 minute recorded side of the tape into at least 2 parts. For a 60 minute tape I need at least 4 files rather than 2 files and I have to find some arbitrary place to break up the recording - the worst case might be in the middle of a sentence.
It would help if the file size limit for audio files was 30MB.

I would like this. I also have a 60 minute recording but I don't know how to split it. I can probably look up how to split them, but in the meantime I can't upload it. A cousin recorded our moms (sisters) talking about their childhood in 2 sessions. I was able to upload the shorter one, but not the longer one. No way to re-record as both women are now deceased.

If the recordings are suitable for a public audience, you could consider uploading to the Internet Archive. I am familiar with Text uploads, but I know you can upload audio recordings, although I have never done the latter.
