Family Groups - Toggle off automatic inclusion in Ordinances Ready search
I love the family groups section of familysearch. There is one drawback that I have found though. When you search for ordinances with the "ordinance ready" feature, the family groups are automatically searched after your reservations list. This is great sometimes, but when I am part of a group where members add a lot of distant relatives, it can be frustrating if I want to find close relatives on my own tree to do the work for. (For example, if my father-in-law adds 50+ temple names of 10th cousins, my own 6th great-grandmother would be overlooked in favor of anyone added to that group.)
I would like to be able to toggle groups off so that they are not included when searched for in the ordinance ready feature. Individual toggles for each group would be ideal. (A toggle meaning a switch where I could choose if that group is included in the search.) Right now the only solution to this problem is to leave the group, which prevents me from reserving names from that group completely.
(This is the only thing preventing me from creating a ward family group so that ward members can share names more easily with each other.)

Ordinances Ready looks for ward and stake holdings already. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/where-does-ordinances-ready-get-names

Ordinances Ready looks for ward and stake names AFTER it looks for "green temples" on your tree. I have members of our ward group that would rather serve ward members by doing ward names in our group than do the spouse of a 10th cousin 8 times removed on their own tree. I think the OP's idea of having a toggle is a great one. It would give a user of Ordinances Ready a choice of where they want their names to come from.

Although options can be useful, every option complicates the user interface. The beauty of Ordinances Ready is that it is so simple. I'm not convinced that the benefit of this option for some people outweighs the cost of additional complexity for many others.

In Ordinance Ready, when someone gets a name with NO documentation and they want to feel more confident that the time they are spending is for someone who is a verified person, they often want to send it back (not accept it) and get another. But instead, they keep getting the same card over and over. Is there a way to check the cards you receive and only accept the ones you feel good about doing and get other cards that are properly researched and verified?

No more than if you walk into a temple with no card at all and are given one there.
At least in Ordinances Ready you can go to the person's detail page and try doing some research to improve the person's information or try to contact the people who have worked on the person to get more information from them.
