Need Group To Comment On The New Source Linker
Could we please have a new group here in communities specifically to comment on the new Source Linker? Like the ones for the new Person pages and the new Pedigree pages? I think these would encourage users to really take a look at the beta Source Linker and offer suggestions for it in an organized fashion. These seemed to work very well for the new Person Pages.
If such a group were created, my first three posts would be as found below.

Tagging Options
In the beta Source Linker, the suggested tagging option are hidden:
Currently it seems that many users already ignore the check boxes and let the program tag every source to every piece of data whether it should be tagged or not. This gives such a profusion of inconsequential tagged sources that it defeats the purpose of tagging to focus on the most important sources.
Since it does not take any increase in space to show the tags, particularly if the "... Tags Automatically Added" label is removed:
Could that tagging section revert to the current status of always showing the check boxes?

Now I see why why we need Reason Statement!
With the new Source Linker as seen in Beta allowing editing, the ability to add Reason Statements has suddenly become more important than ever before:
I know some people might find it annoying, but could a check box be added to remind people to read the Reason Statement that needed to be checked before editing or saving was possible? Yes, some people might get in the habit of automatically checking the box and ignoring the reason statement, but at least it would pull their eyes to the box for long enough to maybe see an important statement:

Please Add The Ability To Show Key Information From User Created Sources
Currently only indexed sources, which may have been indexed by people with no knowledge of the record's language or familiarity with the people in the record, show any information from the record in the list of tagged sources:
Since the new source linker gives the ability to edit information and the lazy way to do this is to just glance at what has been indexed, this gives an unfair advantage to potentially inaccurate indexes over source carefully analyzed and crafted by a user.
Could a feature please be developed to be able to put in a user created source information that would show in this list of tagged sources? This would be useful not only for editing in the Source Linker, but editing in general.

Please Add The Ability to Tag Notes
(Yes, this is a fourth one that occurred to me.)
Discussions have been going on for a long time on how to make Notes more obvious so they can be used to prevent incorrect changes to people's profiles in Family Tree. Since the ability to edit profile information in the Source Linker, as seen in the beta version, is being developed, the need to put Notes front and center has suddenly become even more important.
Could the ability to tag notes, the way we can sources, please be developed and released before the new Source Linker is put into production? This could really help preserve thoroughly researched and accurate information from being replaced by less complete or erroneous indexed information in the Source Linker enviroment.
I would picture this feature as looking like this mockup I made in Photoshop:
This would be beneficial not just in the Source Linker but for editing anywhere. The notes should come at the top of the list of tagged items so they do not get lost at the bottom of a long list of sources since the Notes could explain discrepancies in the sources and need to be read first.
It could also be useful to show that individual data items have been tagged with a note:
Although I think that is starting to look a little cluttered. So it probably would be better not to include the number of tagged notes on the detail page. They would become apparent as soon and the Data View or Editing boxes were opened.
