Go back - Error 15
Recently as I scroll through records I get a message "www.familysearch.org Additional security check is required."
At bottom : Solutions for error 15.
Why is this happening and how do I get rid of it.
This new change make searching record by scrolling through records that are not indexed impossible. CHANGE IT BACK !

First, try it in a different browser. (It doesn't matter if you have any intention of actually using that browser; it's just for testing purposes.) If it works there, as I suspect it will, go back to your original browser and clear your FS-related cache and cookies. (How you do this depends on your browser and OS.) While you're at it, make sure the browser is up to date. Then try again.

I am also having this issue when viewing images. It now makes it pointless to browse images of court, land, probate records as it is now more time consuming to keep having to refresg abd then complete the I am not a robot. Seriously why is this now a thing.
Clearing cache etc does not solve it except for a little while. Truly rediculous. Wanted to send feedback and even that I could not do.

Same in Chrome ! Both are up to date.

Hmm. I've had it happen once, and clearing my cache & cookies fixed it -- but I definitely needed to do both. (I no longer remember which one I tried first.)
When Discord tried to do something similar to me the other week, I ended up restarting my computer, and that finally got rid of the error screen.
I'm afraid that this rather exhausts my meager knowledge of the subject of "error 15" and its relatives. Hopefully there's someone else in the Community who's figured out more about it.

I've done a quick internet search, and I'm guessing it's some kind of anti-bot measure. Interestingly, having your computer set to the wrong time can trigger it, which is something I've never heard of before. It could also be a firewall issue, or the IP location could be blocked.
(I doubt it would be the latter in this instance, I think IP blocking is something you would normally do if your site didn't conform to a country's security laws, which probably isn't the problem here.)
Also, I've seen a lot of people say that using a VPN can fix it, but also some that say using a VPN caused it. That probably only applies if IP blocking was the issue.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Upon investigation, I was informed that there were recent security concerns pertaining to FamilySearch. As a precaution, our security team implemented necessary adjustments to enhance our protection measures. The security team has requested that @fricibacsi and @Sharon Collins kindly reattempt the task and provide us with feedback on whether the issue persists. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
