Group in memory
Hello FamilySearch memories Team. 🙂
In Quebec we have around 800 daughters of the king with documents of their history. How do I make a group in FamilySearch memories that would put all these daughters of the king together without adding to my own memories ?
If I creat an Album it's goes in my memories. I have 47 of them in my direct line. But I dont want all of them in my memories witch have already 1307 in my gallery.
If I add topic tag "Daughters of King", Do you think it will work ? Will everyone easily find them together ?
What do you suggest to me ?
From Marcel 🙂

You can create an album titled "Daughters of King of Quebec" or whatever seems best to you. Then you can add all the memories to that album that you think fit. Then if you don't want those memories to appear in your gallery, then the important next step to do is to archive any memories in that album. That will move all those memories to your archive list, which takes those memories out of your gallery. They will still be in the album. You might also have memories contributed by other people in that album, which is fine; you won't need to worry about archiving those particular memories, since they aren't in your gallery anyway. That sounds like the best solution to me. Yes, you will have one additional album in your personal list of albums, but that seems like a reasonably small price to pay.
The idea of using a topic tag "Daughters of King" is not nearly as good. For one thing, you don't control topic tags exclusively. So any other FamilySearch user could tag any memories with "Daughters of King" and that might be daughters of a king of Hawaii or France or Ghana. I don't think you would be happy with that.

Hello I start to do it. It work but I have an other question:
As you see with the link bellow my ancestor "Daughters of King" Anne Perreault and some others also.
I have tryed to find if I can use this picture to add for some others "Daughters of King".
Can you guide me in the link I can use to contact the owner of this picture so that I can ask him the right to use this image ?

All contributions on FamilySearch can be used by other users on FamilySearch with no extra permission needed (see the Terms of Use: https://www.familysearch.org/legal/terms). So you can add that photo to your album with no problem. Note that the creator of that photo memory could possibly remove it at any point, but that's relatively unlikely.
Of course, if you want to use it for other purposes outside of FamilySearch, you would need to contact the contributor. You can do that by following the link you provided, which will show you all the details for that memory. You'll see the contributor name directly below the "Contributed by" label. Click on that name, then choose the Chat button to communicate with that person.
