Looking for possible relatives in Switzerland - Lage

I have some family from Prussia, which means I also have DNA from Switzerland/Denmark.

I am specifically looking for a gggg-grandfather, Friedrich Lage (born about 1782, died 1875 Preußisch Holland, East Prussia) who was married to Louise Sprenger. His death document states his mother and father are unknown.

I am just starting to learn some basics on the old German language.

Would anyone like to assist me?

@Tammy Covey I would suggest that you join and post in the Germany Research Group. There are some very knowledgeable researchers there, including many who are native fluent German speakers.

    Best of luck!

I am in that group, but it was suggested I look into Switzerland since my DNA includes those people. Thank you for your direction.

This general "Search" category is for - in theory - "Ask about searching the historical records on FamilySearch." In general, how best to form a search query or how to resolve problems searching. You may find few people interested in Switzerland research.

There is also a Switzerland Research group.

Again, good luck with your search.
