Ability to rearrange memories

I have added lots of documents and photographs to "Memories," but would love to be able to order them chronologically. I wish there was a way to rearrange them in an order I like, rather than just have them appear in the order they were uploaded.

Thanks.

On the Memories page for a person, just click on Filter then choose Chronological for the sort:

How do I order documents and pictures in Memories by page number? Chronologically does not do this.

Also, is there a way to place a folder of documents or pictures in Memories instead of adding them document by individual document?

    Thanks

If they have page numbers, I would combine them into a single document using a PDF editor and post the document as one memory rather than post the individual pages.

I don't see any way to post a folder of documents. I wonder how it would work to create an album in your Gallery, put multiple items into it, copy the link for the album, and then create a source on the person which uses that URL? It would probably be more difficult for people to find those memories, but you could always give the source a year of 0001 so it would be at the top of the source list for most people.

yeh - one of the most annoying things is people uploading hundreds of images one by one that belong to a single document and forcing us to click on an item page by page and the pages not always ending up in order. As has been stated PDF is the way go. Then you have ONE item that you click on that ahs all the pages - and not 100 different items.

since you apparently have already scannd to jpg (instead of pdf) - you can take your jpgs and convert them into a pdf using a service like ILOVEPDF

    https://www.ilovepdf.com/jpg_to_pdf

But you should also take the time to learn how to scan a multipage document into a single pdf file. It will save you tons of exra work. Any scanner should have this option.

be aware however that you will bump up into a 15MB file size for your pdf's

to get around the 15MB file size - you compression on your PDF;s and shrink them to up to like 10% of the original size - you can use a free compression utitlity such as ILOVEPDF
