Looking for my Father

HI,

I'm looking for my father I haven't seen or heard from in 25 years.

We left Lower Hutt (NZ) in 1998 and I have never been able to find any information on him since.

Would anyone on this platform know someone by the surname MAFUATU? As per my mother his family name could also be Taulelei.

I always feel a lot of discomfort when I read similar requests on this forum. Whilst I feel for you in your wish to become reunited with your father, I do not feel that going about it in this fashion is correct. FamilySearch policy is to protect the privacy of the living and, just maybe, your father would not want your broken relationship to be made public here. He might have acquired a new family by now, who may be unaware of his past relationships, so please take care in your efforts to find him. In particular, by not asking for help in your quest from those who know nothing of the circumstances of your estrangement.
