Dash in place of surname in US, Indiana—Mortality Schedules, 1860–1880[MQ82-VPT]
Hello,
I am indexing US, Indiana—Mortality Schedules, 1860–1880[MQ82-VPT]. I see that there are a couple of instances where there is a dash instead of the surname. Since this is a mortality schedule, and not a census record, does this still mean that it is the same surname as the person above? In other words, should I transcribe it as [Blank], or enter the same surname again?
Many thanks for your input!

This actually is a census record listing people who died that year. I would bring the names down if they have a line, which indicates ditto.
