Bug where images are not pulling up from sources from a person page

I have seen this bug from multiple sources and from multiple computers. When I go to the Sources for an individual, I try to click on the image link for an individual like this:

Capture.JPG

Then I get a page with a URL like this:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GRZ8-QL5?view=index&personArk=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AX7WW-88N&action=view

Rather than giving the actual image it gives me a page like this:

Capture2.JPG

Notice that I can't see the image. There is a highlighted box showing where the image should be, but when IO click on it, nothing happens.

I can take off the end of the URL like this and get the image to show up correctly, but I'm sure most users would not think of that:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GRZ8-QL5

It would be great to get this fixed.

Thanks!

When I follow that link, I get a view showing the image on the left and the index panel on the right. I don't see the "filmstrip" anywhere.

If I click the X to close the side panel, then the filmstrip appears below the image.

I can get the side panel back by clicking the middle button ("Open Panel") of the toolbar at the top right.

The filmstrip persists when I do that.

To make it go away again, I can click the first toolbar button ("View Grid") and then click the image.

This restores the same view I had when I first followed the link.

Given that I can't generate a view like yours, I can't test this: what happens if you click (or maybe double-click) one of the images of the filmstrip? Does reloading the page change anything? Do you perhaps just need to wait a bit longer for things to fully load? Or make your browser be more patient next time, by deleting your FS cache and cookies?

I got a blank white screen at first, but I went back to this tab, then back to the records, and suddenly the images were there. It worked fine when I tried closing it and clicking the link again.

The second time working immediately may have to do with website data that got stored on the computer after it worked the first time, but I have no idea if I had a problem that I accidentally fixed or if I just had to wait a bit.

I had no trouble accessing the image. Have you trying clearing your FamilySearch cookies?
