Improve indexing font

I have indexed thousands of records. Often I come across a name like William or Villiers or Cilliers which is sometimes harder to read in the input (data entry) boxes. It would be so much easier to sight verify my keying if the font was (1) serif and / or (2) monospaced. The current font (Ariel?/Calibri?) is neither. An old monospaced typewriter font would work. Here are some examples:

I guess what I'm suggesting is to let me choose the font which makes it easier to sight-verify what I've keyed

Thanks for listening.
