How to delete incorrect information
Community members and AI added "John Maxwells" to the parents of my 3x great grandmother, Ellen Maxwell) but they are not her ancestors. Moreover, the records attached to the person don't even support the named person, spouse or offspring, ie, John Archibald Maxwell and Margaret Johnstone. I am unable to delete John Archibald and Margaret Johnstone even though they are not the parents of my 3x great grandmother. Her parents were John Maxwell (b 24 Sep 1779) and Helen Ritchie (b 31 Jan 1784) who were married on 24 Jun 1798. If I cannot correct this I will need to delete my account.

OK, I can't find the precise set of people involved because you've not given us the Profile Id but in general...
Firstly I have to assume we're talking about FamilySearch FamilyTree and not some other part of FamilySearch.
Secondly, you cannot delete John Archibald (Maxwell?) and Margaret Johnstone. They are there because someone else put them there and neither you nor I nor FamilySearch Support can delete those people.
What you need to do is delete the relationship between Ellen Maxwell and those two people. That's quite different from deleting the people but gives you exactly what you want, I believe.
To do that, go to Ellen Maxwell's profile in FS FamilyFree and look over in the middle of the Family Members section (well, it's the middle on my screen - yours may be different) where Ellen appears underneath the "parents" John Archibald (Maxwell?) and Margaret Johnstone. There should be a pencil icon by the side of her name in that column - click on that and you should be able to edit the Parent-Child Relationship. You need to go to Remove or Replace icon, click that and you want to choose the option to Remove Parents using the button in the button right. (You need to tick the "I have reviewed..." section to be able to click the button).
Now you can sort out adding Ellen's real parents.
Remember please that John Archibald (Maxwell?) and Margaret Johnstone were (probably) real people - that's why they can't be deleted.

There is no Artificial Intelligence involved in the FamilySearch Family Tree.
If you will kindly provide the Profile Identifier of Ellen Maxwell ( a 7-digit code near her name), someone can show you how to detach her from the parents if they are not correct.

Adrian...Thank you so much. I was able to correct John Maxwell to "my" John Maxwell 1779-1831, GLS9-QHW. I was kinda able to correct his spouse to Helen Ritchie, but I cannot completely delete Margaret Johnstone 1781-1864, GFQY-WHW, because there are children attached to her.
Best, Kris
