People That I Am Following - Can the Number Be Increased Beyond 4,000 People?

Can changes be made in FamilySearch Family Tree to enable the following of more than 4,000 people? The following of 4,000 people is the current limit.  Could that number be doubled or even raised to 10,000 people for selected users if an increase could not be enabled for all users?

I am now following about 3,800 people so I likely will reach the maximum number of 4,000 later this year or in 2024. I am not sure what happens with the current limit once I am following 4,000 people.
