Extending relationship beyond the nominal 15

Would it be possible to allocate a relationship from the 15th ancestor on a Tree- to an earlier ancestor; that would then allow the two numbers to be added together to establish... say 15 and 4 making the target relative the 19th Grandparent ?

You're certainly free to do this manually, yes. For purposes of the "Show Relationship" function, the engineers chose 15 generations as the limit, presumably for very good reasons, such as resource management (server load).

I haven't explored this aspect, but I believe Relative Finder goes beyond 15 generations.
