US, New England—Petitions for Naturalization, 1787–1906 [Part A]

I have read the instructions for this project a few times and I don't think I understand them, so please forgive me for asking this.

On the first page I see the name of the applicant and then towards the bottom there is a list of witnesses that will be called. On the second page there is the oath of allegiance and the statement that he is a citizen of the U.S.

On other batches the first page asks for date of birth, etc. If you look on the first reference image after the second document, it lists all of that. Do I include that in the fields for the first document, do I only add the name and date listed on the first document, or is it marked NNED?

I know not all fields will have entries but I want to make sure I am indexing everything I am supposed too. Especially if it is a document that spans a few images.

Thank you in advance for the help.

You index what you see. Reference images are for reference only and are not indexed with you batch.

Your first step is to delete blank entries. To do this, locate and click on the trash can icon on the toolbar. This dialog box will appear. Choose "All blank entries", and then click Delete. You will only have to do this once.
