@N Tychonievich would you happen to know if these old CD format records are included in the digitization project for microfiche? Thanks.
Jean, FamilySearch does not sell record copies.

I buy my books and CDs of the German Familienbuch from several sources in Germany and with intent to donate to the FamilySearch Library, knowing well the copyrights are well protected by the FamilySearch Library in accordance with international copyright laws.
You will have to do the internet searches to locate the sellers in Germany as I have done, managed to track down several certain familienbuch books that are hard to locate, including one that is so rare.

Thank you for the information. I have tried unsuccessfully to locate a German seller of the Familenbuch that I am looking for; however, it is just great to know that it has been done before and that I was on the right track. Again, thank you and I will continue to look for more German sources.

Thank you. I did not really intend to buy from Family Search itself. Sorry, I wasn't clear about that. I had hoped that they could direct me to a German source where I could buy it. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

Can you tell me what the parish in Germany you are looking for in form of Familienbuch? Sometimes the sellers aren't up front what they have.

Eichsel and Adelhausen are the two parishes that the information in the book comes from. On the FS link to the church records, it also listed in parenthesis (A. Schopfheim). I presume that's the larger parish near the other two. Thanks.

Adelhausen CD in 1997, that is long time ago. A. Schopfheim refers to a district. A = Amt.

GenWiki has info on Adelhausen OFB

I found the site you mentioned and translated it. I see that the author has several publications about Adelhausen. I will look further into seeing if this leads me to be able to secure a copy. Thanks,
Jean
