Archive dissapeared
HI,
Until the start of 2023 I could search and view the records of Zolder, Limburg, Belgium.
This is the link: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C3MS-FQ73-H?i=196&cat=63958
But suddenly I can not view the records/photos any longer.
Why has it been restricted?
Edward

In the series of films that make up that collection, 2 films have modern records that would be restricted to comply with privacy regulations. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/63958 There is one restricted that does not appear to fall within the 100-year period for privacy. The rest of the collection is available for viewing.
There is a project underway to break apart those digitized films that have a few restricted years so that we can view the unrestricted years. That project will likely take some time to complete.

Thank you for your quick answer.
I understand how it works, only found it strange it was viewable for some years. Maybe they checked the files again. Strange although that even church files ending in 1832 are restricted. :-(
Anyway it was my fault not downloading immediately the photo of my grandmothers baptism after finding it sometime ago in that now restricted file, only got the link.
Looking forward to the date the files can be broken into non restricted parts.
I have great respect for what is being done.
Sincerely,
Edward

You might try reporting a catalog error. The catalog is nearly 2 years out of date at this time as it has been locked to editing. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-request-a-correction-to-the-familysearch-catalog

I don't know if I understand you correctly.
I found the photo of my grandmother's baptism in the file Baptisms 1831-1897. And attached are the ones of the marriages until 1929, so I don't think I will get to it soon again.
