me and my wife have been sealed in the temple but when we try to record it as a new marriage, we have to create a new person even both of us already have an account, they can't be linked.

Does anyone know how to deal with it?

This is by design: for privacy, profiles of living people are only visible using the account that created them. You'll each need to enter a new profile for each other.

Note that since you're the only one who can see the profile -- unless there's a data breach, or under limited circumstances if you ask for help -- you needn't and shouldn't enter any identifying details beyond a name or nickname by which you'll know who it's for.

It is possible to "Add Event" under Marriage facts and add the sealing date, in addition to the first marriage date.
