Language keeps changing to German
Although I truly wish I could read and understand the German language I prefer not to have it on my family tree. Always had english but for some reason the writing is now in German. I have gone to preferences on my profile and changed it twice but it keeps switching back to German. Yes I am extensively searching german records. Please tell me how to fix this. I have records to enter but can't unless I can read and write it in English. Help please. Thinking outloud here --is this an AI issue happening? no can't be. Please please help fix this.

In the tree view or person page view, click on the globe at the top right. A menu will drop down to select the language.

Yes I have done that three times now---I just went back to the tree view and it seems to have finally stayed English. Thank you for responding so quickly.

I am having a similar issue in that every time I log in, the login page comes up in, I think, Polish. I change it back to English but once I log out the next login is back to a foreign language. Any idea how I can save my language setting so I don't have to go thru this every time?

I hear your frustration. The setting finally held after numerous attempts. The app/program definitely has a stubborn streak. I just kept at it until the change stayed. Good Luck Hope you find success soon.

Can you tell me if you have any recurring issues logging in and having the wrong language appear?

I haven't been on FS for quite a while until this week. From the little I have done there have been no issues thus far. As I begin again this next few weeks I will let you know if the issue occurs again.
