We did not include a marriage/death entry (if listed) on the baptism records for a previous African church record indexing project (same record forms) since there were separate record forms (marriage/burial) for these events.

Also, I forgot to add that you will sometimes see that the marriage was performed in a different location, so the primary record is there.
In the example above: Martha was baptised in church/mission in Hombane but married at Civil Court in Il Cabusi.
Think of a book's index, not every word or subject is included in it. Indexed records aren't meant to include all the information on them, only that which is relevant to the type of record it is (and even then, sometimes not all information may be included due to the time period, location, and confidentiality/legal concerns.
Indexed records are genealogical guides for researchers. If there is additional information available, hopefully the original can be viewed, and the user can add that data to their tree or use it to continue their search on their own (e.g., under spouse's name, Zimbabwe civil court and death records).
