I am doing a workshop for indexing and have done a few and would like a updated numbers of records being indexed and number of volunteers and number of records reviewed.
@TM Kaleopa In this community - made up largely of users, not staff - we don't even have a Mod assigned to the Indexing category.
I would suggest you contact SLC directly. The newsroom might be a good place to start. https://www.familysearch.org/en/newsroom/contact-us I know when I've contacted the newsroom about broken links in blog articles, or similar issues, Paul Nauta was very quick to reply and repair.
I'm not sure about the numbers being indexed, but you can see a real-time counter of the number of images being acquired that need to be indexed. When you first open up FamilySearch, click on Search then Images. There is the counter. If you go down below that at the bottom of the page it says Blog. Click on that and there is tons of information. For the actual number of indexes, maybe call the Family History Center.
The number of images needing indexing is over 5,000,000,000! It's mind boggling!
Good luck with your workshop!
There are many images that will never be indexed, so I think that's a bit apples and oranges.
