I am trying to edit an indexed entry in Norway Church Records. The place is a farm name, so it is only one word. I tried to enter the correct farm name, but it asked for a standardized place. Norway standardized places end at the parish. Is there a way to get around this? Thanks.

Family Tree allows the entered place name and the standardized place to be different. So I'm your case, the place you enter could be "farmname, parish, district, country." But since the farmname doesn't exist in the list of standard places, the standard name might simply be "parish, district, country." That gives you the best of both worlds: you provide the most detail you have, and also give the most correct standard place, which helps with mapping and other features that depend on a standard being supplied.

@Terri Mitchell No! There is no way to correct that index entry and please do not try to do so. You will just hide information.
@Alan E. Brown is explaining what to do in Family Tree itself. But until the Places database is complete, you cannot follow his advice in the indexed records unless you are going to replace and hide every farm name in the census. This is because the indexes do not have the dual place name system that Family Tree does.

Checking the original record, you can see that the mother's residence, and therefore the child's birthplace, is Tofte.

It really doesn't help to replace a misspelled residence with no residence at all. Until they allow transcription corrections without standardization, it's best to just leave these alone.
As a side note, Norwegian standardized places do not only end at the municipality/parish. There is an ever increasing number of place names that are farm, municipality/parish, county, county. And there are thousands upon thousands of place names that are farm, county, country. But these are rather hard to use because it can be very difficult to tell which farm name you are looking at when there are twenty to thirty farms with the same name in one county. These are slowly being corrected to the full four level place name for the farms.

As Gordon says, we cannot currently correct mistranscriptions of placenames using the old index correction tool, because it requires us to choose a value from the database.
I complained about it last year: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/125577/please-allow-transcription-corrections-in-indexed-placenames#latest. I also occasionally submit a complaint using the "Feedback" tab.
Unfortunately, I don't think the old tool is likely to change; FS is probably concentrating on the new "edit anything" tool instead. Luckily, the new tool allows "unstandardized" places.
(The index originally said "Szarvas, Békés, Hungary", which is the correct place, but the document itself just says "Szarvas", so I changed it to that as a test, and it didn't even blink.)
If you want to see it, two collections that definitely use the new index correction tool are the 1950 U.S. Census and the Hungarian civil registrations.

That's good news that the new editor allows correcting the index to just what the document says and does not require that someone interpolates one word to full place name that you may not be able to determine without a lot of extra research if you can determine it at all.
@Terri Mitchell , going back to your comment about the limited place names in the Standards list for Norway. A few months ago, you would only see Austevoll, Hordaland, Norway, on standards list. Now the standards list includes 106 options for places within Austevoll and includes the proper date ranges for when all those places were in Sund instead of Austevoll.
It's a slow process, but if there are particular farms you would like added to the database because you use them a lot, you can request them here by clicking on Suggest A New Place: https://www.familysearch.org/research/places/?pagenum=1&pagesize=20
While you are waiting for new places to be added, do continue to do as Alan recommended above in Family Tree: Type out the full place including the farm and any other needed information, and link it to the lower level, incomplete standard.
