I have noticed that on many of the petitions where it lists place of birth many of the recorders would write things such as, "Nova Scotia" or "London" without listing the country.

I have only been indexing what is actually written on the document, but now I'm nervous and wonder if I should be adding the country.

Thanks for answering. I have tried to find it in the specific instructions for this project but I might have missed it. I apologize if I did.

Thanks!

You index what you see, so if it says "London", you index it as "London".
