The Labs feature has disappeared.

Will it come back or should I just Re Index the poorly done Batches?

You can either index the batch or throw it back for reindexing. If you throw it back, choose the  Delete the indexed data option and only use that if it's a batch that has egregious errors.

FWIW, I honestly believe that Labs never really worked.
