    Great article Maggie. I live in eastern Montana and I think there is probably a treasure trove of historical information here. I live in Miles City, MT which was the destination of the cattle drives from Texas back in the late 1800’s. The movie “Lonesome Dove” depicts a hotel that is still in operation to this day. And there is an Army fort that was built shortly after the Battle of the Little Big Horn in which George Armstrong Custer was killed. Lots of history out here
