Look at the detail page of yourself. See where it says Add Parent. You will need to add your grandmother and any other LIVING person yourself. Living people are private and do not show up in the Public area where the Deceased show. So start with yourself, then add your own copy of the any Living then until you get to a Deceased generation. The easiest way to Add Deceased person is to add them by their PID number.

Once you have your pedigree set up so you can see yourself, your living parent, and your living grandmother, then you will probably need to use the Contact Us button at the upper right of this page to speak to someone at FamilySearch directly about having your duplicate copy of your living grandmother added as a daughter to Joseph Fielding Smith. Since he is read only, I don't think you will be able to add your grandmother as his daughter. Someone with the right administrative privileges will have to do it for you.

Joseph Fielding Smith was my most favorite person to meet in my entire life (I'm in my 80's now). When I was about 18, I attended a Know Your Religion class he taught. I shook his hand after and thanked him. It was incredible. I felt like I was shaking the hand of the Savior, the spirit I felt from him was so strong and beautiful. It cemented my testimony for life and all eternity. One of the most important experiences of my entire life, attending his class and feeling his beautiful spirit. What a great blessing!
