Scan to FamilySearch
At our Stake FSC, from the Lexmark printer, I select "Scan to FamilySearch", add my FS UN when prompted, add my password when prompted, answer Yes to the two questions, place what I want scanned on the upper left corner, and close the lid. I press Scan, it Scanned, tells me it's processing, then says "Failed". I tried it both as a photo and a doc with the same failed result. Checking in my Gallery, it failed as stated because it's not there. My wife did the exact same process, it worked first time. What would cause it to fail on my UN and PW?
Thanks in advance

Sadly the "Scan to FamilySearch" option on the Lexmark printer has been troublesome for some time. However, you could try setting up the "Scan to Network" tool. You do this by opening the Lexmark control panel in a browser, by typing
the now default static IP address for the Lexmark in the location bar as 192.168.108.15 and press the return/enter key.
You should now see all the configuration tools for the Lexmark Printer. Please read through the attached document and do what is stated to achieved deployment of the tool.
This tool, which provided scanning of documents (also in color), places them in a folder on the Desktop of the chosen computer and other computers. The folder names must be different for each computer.
Creating this special folder is the first basic task.
Although scanning is fine, you have to then upload the acquired images to your personal Memories tool in FamilySearch, manually.
I have used this tool successfully for many years. Please have a try! Cheerio, @DavidBeck1
