Spouses of Infants allowed?
There are many instances of children dying young.
And besides their box at this webiste appears another box for their spouse.
I suggest that in cases of children dying before 10 years of age, let there be no box for adding the child's (or infant's) spouse.
The result is a better looking appearance. It won't look like there is information missing.

@JeffreyChoron On such a child's profile you can add the fact called "No Couple Relationships" and it will have the effect you are hoping for.

personally I prefer consistency and simplicity
if we create some display rule for this - then how many other display rules will we set up and it becomes just more and more complex
I prefer that everyone show the same . . . whether they died as an infant or live to be 100 or married or not and that we avoid a whole set of rules for a multitude of special circumstances that just makes code maintenance even more difficult.

@Alan E. Brown, will there be a delay between the time the No Couple Relationships fact is entered and when the Add Spouse indicator is removed?

@Chas Howell In my experience, it is immediate.
Note that I am talking about the Tree view (Portrait or Landscape) that has a tile labeled "Add Spouse". The original post was a bit vague, but talked about "besides their box at this webiste appears another box for their spouse." To me, the reference to a "box" and "beside" sounded like a Tree view.
On the Details tab of the person's page, the buttons for Add Spouse always appear, even if the No Couple Relationships fact has been added.

Data quality in this database leaves much to be desired. In my mind, FamilySearch needs to implement a suite of error traps and warnings to stop obvious errors such as the one described here.

And the "No Couple Relationships" fact only changes the tree view in the NEW pedigree view. "Add Spouse" still displays in the OLD view.
