Endless Refresh after Attaching Hints
I was in Loving county, Texas tonight and had a lady that had hints for her children.
I cleared the hints on each child, including hints on spouses if needed.
Once the last hint was complete, I tried refreshing the screen and got this:
Its happened a few times tonight and I didn't notice it at first. Thought perhaps we were having internet problems. But if I click on a different person's expansion arrow, which properly refreshes. Then I click on the first expansion arrow for the people that never resolved, and it properly refreshes.
Seems like the re-display/refresh is getting hung in an endless refresh.
Doesn't happen all the time. Still trying to figure out what trips it into the confused state.

Yes, as for the multiple spouses. You would choose the spouse, then go to the details pop-out on the right hand side and click View Tree. Then that person would be the focus person and you could then see the children of that couple. If this is something that you don't like, you could certainly send feedback about it and why it makes things more difficult for you. I'd suggest trying it for a little while first, to see if it is only awkward because it is different or if there is a reason that makes this format more difficult to use.

The plot thickens....
The 'endless refresh' seems to be related to switching the focus individual.
Working in Loving county, I selected the lady and made my update (added a source). Then I click on the woman and show her family tree. Just double-checking there are no more hints that might help me for her lineage.
Found some hints and started working my way up the tree (back in time). Hoping to catch any missing children/cousins.
Debra Ruth Preston has 3 different husbands. Lewis is one of them. After working through most of the hints for her family, I refresh the screen and got the 'gray endless refresh'.
You can see the popup ... she had 3 husbands.
I've selected a different husband than Lewis.
And no matter which husband I pick (other than Lewis), the pedigree chart does not refresh; however, the right column details for the husband do refresh.
The endless hanging seems to be occurring if you have clicked the expansion button, there is at least 1 child displayed, then you decide to change to one of the other husbands.
You get: 1) endless refresh for the child level, 2) alternative husband selected shows up details in the right column, and 3) original husband stays in the pedigree chart no matter which husband you select
Seems like some pointers are wrong or there is a memory/array foul up.
I'll keep working and see if any other condition causes the endless refresh.
And it happens to my living brother and his two kids. I thought maybe I was so far back in time, that this was a struggle searching far back in time.
But, I can display my personal family. My living brother. His first wife (deceased). Use the expansion arrow and display their two kids (living). Do not select the other wife. Just hit refresh button (upper left on my browser - Mozilla - firefox), and I get the gray circles for his kids, their info is cleaned off the screen, and the endless refresh of the default 4 boxes for kids shows up.
I should add -- Mozilla Firefox (current build), Windows 11 PC , 3 button mouse.

@bekasu Can you tell me if it is always the grandchildren generation of the focus person that hang in this refresh mode or if it shows up in different generations relative to the focus person? Do you see generations below the grandchildren of the focus person? ie great-grandchildren? great-great-grandchildren?
Need to check with the engineers, but I think the spouse showing on the right but not changing on the pedigree is displaying correctly. That is, when you select a different spouse from the pop-up, it shows the person card on the right-hand pop-out. It doesn't change to that spouse on the pedigree unless you click the View Tree button. You will note that behavior for any person that you click on. The old format had a details card that popped up and then you would click on the person's name to go to their person page or click on the tree icon to view their tree. This right-hand pop-out is the same thing, it just is always in the same place on the right-hand side of the screen.

In the new way, if I am looking at the parent, I cannot change the spouse of my child that was married 3 times.
If I want to see my grandkids, I have to make the daughter be the focus person and change her husband in order to see her kids by different husbands?
Just making sure I understand how it works now.
Looks like I was leaning on seeing 3 generations at a time. Now we only see 2 generations at a time.
So in the above example, I cannot see children of Debra Ruth Preston by clicking on the different husbands. I do see the info on the right for the husband change. But the 'preferred' husband always shows in the pedigree no matter which husband name is clicked.
Which means, only kids from the preferred spouse will show in the pedigree chart unless you specifically go to each spouse and make them the focus, then look for other children.
Endless Refresh is the grandchildren.
Everything in the new pedigree chart seems so much faster and smoother.
However, if I am displaying 3 generations, Grandparents in focus at the top. Expansion arrow clicked at bottom so the grandchildren show. Then I click on a blue hint for a parent (middle generation on the screen). Handle the hint. X out of hint. Then refresh screen with the circle arrow in upper left corner of browser. All grandchildren that were displayed turn to gray dots and pulse like they are refreshing.
I can click on any other expansion arrow for another set of grandchildren, it instantly refreshes correctly. And if I click on the previous expansion arrow that was endless, it too will resolve instantly.

That analysis fits with what I am seeing as well. The visible grandchildren of the focus couple get stuck in endless refresh when using the browser refresh button. Does it only happen to you when you do something and then go back? For me it happens any time I refresh the pedigree, even if I haven't done anything with it.

Happens no matter what I do, hint fix or not. The refresh hangs.
No worries. I just have a learned habit from the original way. Let me work with it for awhile. As long as I understand how it works, I'll know to develop a different strategy to be sure I don't overlook something.
Thanks for helping me understand things better.

Glad to help! Try it out, but don't forget that if you find distinct reason for doing it differently, be sure to send feedback!
