Spurious notifications
Why does FS send me notifications that they may have found a record about an ancestor, when that record is already attached (by me) to the person? It only wastes time.
If FS is paying attention, this approach is irritating, waste of time, and causes users to ignore messages from FS. Please adjust your algorithms.

Yes happened to me yesterday as well. My take was that because I wasn’t the one who contributed that source they wanted to let me know about it.

It happens often. I have learned to just not open those emails. I really appreciate the ones with new information or updates on family history callings.

It's often a form email that goes to everyone with a FS username. For me, it's almost always a record I attached to the ancestor.
Some people don't visit FS very often and need reminding. Those who use it almost daily can just ignore the emails or just turn the notifications off.
