depends on your scanner - and scanner / image editing utilities on your computer - but YES - you can

Its not a function of FamilySearch - its a function of your scanner. and once scanned and edited - its an image file just like any other image you UPload to FS Memories.

Have you tried placing a negative on your scanner bed and scanning at a high resolution? (such as 400 dpi)

(and then converting it from a"negative" image to a "positive" image using one of various image editing packages or utilities that might even come with your scanner.)

are these black and white negatives or color?

does your scanner come with any special image editing software?

Im sure you can find tons of sites on GOOGLE about scanning negatives

    here is just one: https://lenslurker.com/how-to-scan-negatives/

Im sure you can find tons of APPS in the app store that also convert negative to positive images.
