How to attach a person from a census record to the correct person in the tree

In the 1930 census, one of my grand uncles is not matching up like everyone else in the household does. His name is Angus but he was transcribed from the census as Amgens. It wants me to add him as a new person even though I can see him listed as one of the family members just above. I see up and down arrows in front of the Amgens listing but clicking on them does nothing. How do I connect him in the census?

Here is a link to the census record:

The Amgens Monroe is the same person as Angus Peter Monroe born in 1912. Just left click and hold down while moving up to the Angus Peter Monroe spot. When aligned the "Compare" word will show. Then you will be able to go through the regular process.

As Paula Ann and the tooltip say, you can drag the line to match up with the correct Tree person.

The "target" will turn yellow, i.e., if I let go of "Amgens", he'll be lined up with Angus when Angus's rectangle is yellow.

That's the generalist method: it'll work with any index on FS.

Given that this is a U.S. Census, though, you have another option: you can correct the index. To do that, go to the index detail page for "Amgens" (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:3QJ4-T2M) and click the Edit button in the middle of the black strip at the top.

(I can understand why it was indexed as "Amgens": both the 'n' and the 'u' have extra humps.)
