I think the issue may be with the title of the collection. Or maybe an update is overdue. "Kentucky Death Records, 1911-1967" has images only through 1965. The last 2 years seem to be index only.

@TraciAspel The Kenticky Death Records collection is shared with FamilySearch by the Kentucky office of vital statistics. As FamilySearch works with record owners to digitize and publish their records, they have the right to ask that some information not be shown on the website. So, as noted above, some of the recent years, while they do have the indexed information available to view, they do not allow us to show the record images. In time, that might change. Meanwhile, the collection title is not inaccurate; you can view the indexed data. Then, you can contact the Kentucky office of vital statistics in Frankfurt to inquire about obtaining copies of the certificates.
