FYI-Depending on how one spells Mecklenburg or Mecklenberg, different sets of records show up with the alternate spelling in Category-Keyword search. All in one spot will ensure pertinent records are seen.

It would help others understand the issue here if you provided an example URL, or a screenshot, to illustrate where you are experiencing this difficulty.

Are you talking about a search of records under "Catalog", or perhaps "Images"? Using the former, I typed "Mecklenb*rg" in the "Keywords" field and had a list of 1,908 results returned, which appeared to include both place names spellings. (A search was rather difficult without using filters). Using "Images", this section only appears to include records for places named Mecklenberg as an Alternate Name to Mecklenburg (and other places).

You are likely to gain more understanding of the nature of your request by giving the exact nature of your searches.
