Adding more privacy options so memories are a better option for living people to record history

I am trying to record significant spiritual events in our family for future posterity.... things like missionary journals and other meaningful events. Can an additional option be added to the security settings which would be private while living but would then turn public after the family member has passed on. It could be public, private, and semi private.

Or is there a good way to store these memories that would be easily shared or found in family search later on?

The tricky thing about this suggestion is that phrase "after the family member has passed on." Since that family member is a living person in Family Tree, only visible to you, how is Family Tree supposed to know that that person has passed on?
