show family search ID of person that the record is connected too in search results
When doing searches , in the search results there is a "symbol of a family tree" that shows up if the record is already connected to a person. It would be very helpful if family search also gave the recored ID of the person that the record was connected to in the search results. this way you would know immediately if the person was connected to the person you are searching. Right now you have to take extra time and click on the tree symbol to see who the record is connected to and then look for their family search ID.

Yes, this is a good idea. I have thought that that when you do a search from a person's page that the results should at least be "Color Coded": perhaps green when the are already connected to the starting person and red when connected to someone else.

I agree that the current function of the tree-stublet icon is worse than useless: clicking it hijacks the search results page with the attached profile's details page, but the icon cannot be right-clicked to open the profile in a new tab instead. This means that I've mentally filed that icon under "Bad Things Will Happen" and never use it.
You can work around the problem a little a few different ways. If you click the background of the search result, a sidebar will open with the attached profile's name, dates, and ID at the bottom. (Make sure you're clicking the background, though, not any of the links or buttons, because those will all hijack your page with something.) If you need to be able to refer back to the name-and-ID, you can open the index entry's details page in a new tab by right-clicking (or your OS's equivalent) either the name (at the left) or the "page" icon (at the right) on the search result. The details page shows the attached profile's name, dates, and ID at the top of the right-hand column.
What I would like is for the tree-stublet icon to bring up the attached profile's summary card, like what you get when you click a name in a chart view. Similarly, the generic-portrait icon should bring up the suggested profile's summary (clearly labeled as "suggested" or "possible", but otherwise the same as the tree-stublet).
(Yes, that's me, actually advocating for popups. Wonders never cease.)
