You can do a Matrilineal Mitochondrial DNA test and find common ancestors a few generations before your great aunts. Then you can find descendants (working genealogy backwards,in effect) until you stumble on records mentioning them. Apologies if you already have your 7-generation pedigree chart and family group sheets done. I recently found newspaper records helpful in filling out more about a deceased ancestor who I didn't know enough about. Best of blessings in your pursuit.
