Getting kicked back to top of page......
Going back to the right place I left would save so much time and frustration: When gathering ordinances with green boxes, by choosing an ancestor in the 1700's or 1800's and going to their "descendancy" and choosing "4 generations"----every time I find an ordinance I want to take for my reserved list, After clicking on the green box and reserving it and clicking on the text papers that come up--------when I go back to the original page with all the green boxes, the system takes me to the top instead of to the point in the page where I reserved a particular box.
It is so frustrating and time-consuming to find where I was at and constantly having to go back through the same boxes that I did not want to take at this time. If the engineers could change the system to put you back to where you last took a box to reserve.
Ordinances Ready does not give enough names at a time for my purposes and we prefer this other method. We love family tree, but have this one frustration. Hope you understand my explanation😀.
Sometimes we just need more names at once--for family reunions, YW/YM groups, ward sealing groups, and relatives that turn to us for names.
Most people will just not let us teach them about ordinances ready, but are willing to do the temple work for our family---but they just want to be given the cards. Otherwise, they just do a name/names that the temple gives them when they go. So they don't get the additional blessings of doing work for our own family.
And the ward members and youth groups get more meaning out of helping ward members that give them cards to do. Yet they say they are just too busy to learn how to do family tree right now.

I'm not LDS, so I know nothing about green boxes, but when I use a descendancy chart to look for blue boxes, I open them in a new tab. (I use Windows, so I right-click.) This leaves the descendancy chart exactly where I want it, when I get back to it.

Thanks so much for your quick response. I will try that if I can figure it out😀.
Since I am working with Dutch names and don't know the language, it makes it more difficult to find my former spot than if the names were in English!😀
