1950 US Census - Incorrect Location for Pittsburgh

Until about 1907, there were two cities next to each other: Allegheny City and Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh annexed Allegheny City. The 1950 Census has this listing for Pittsburgh:

"Allegheny City, Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States"

I believe it is incorrect. I see it repeatedly. Here is an example: "United States 1950 Census", database, FamilySearch (ark:/61903/1:1:6XBV-T924 : Mon Jan 30 00:07:36 UTC 2023), Entry for Nick Balkovic and Mary Balkovic, 4 April 1950.

The issue, I believe, is there was no place called "Allegheny City" after about 1907.

Thank you for anyone who can address this.

@N Tychonievich This is, once again, the placename standardization algorithm at work, reverting to a place that no longer existed. Complete URL https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6XBV-T924

@LINCOLN LOWERY The clue that this was changed by the standardization bot is the existence of "Event Place (Original)"
