Increase the maximum number of people in a family group

We needed a way to share temple ordinances within members of our ward. Our stake used to use a credenza in the temple to share names among members of our stake, but they no longer do that. I came up with the idea of creating a family group for our ward family and it is working extremely well! After just two or three months of using it, we have 42 members of our ward that have joined the group with more requesting access weekly.

My concern is about the 100 person limit within a family group. We can always create a second ward family group, but they won't be able to share between groups.

Would it be possible to increase the number of people that can join a family group (or eliminate the limit completely?)

Just a comment in case you are not aware of this, but Ordinances Ready will find reservations submitted by people of your ward or stake if it cannot find family names for you. Putting ward names in a family group does make Ordinances Ready pull those names sooner than names of your relatives in Family Tree, of course.

This is the the order Ordinances Ready looks for names:

• Your family names list (or "temple list" or "reservation list"). 
• Family names that you shared with a family group.
• Family names that have been shared with a family group that you belong to.
• Your family names that you shared with the temple.
• Names of people who are related to you that have been shared with the temple by someone else.
• "Green temples" from your tree.
• Your ward. These are names that members of your ward shared with the temple.
• Your stake. These are names that members of your stake shared with the temple.
• Names not related to you that have been shared with the temple.

Another factor that might affect how you use the ward group is the limitation of 1000 reservations per group. This means that if you do get 100 people in the group, each person on average can only share ten names with the group. You may, of course get three people who contribute their personal maximum of 300 names and basically prevent the rest of the group from contributing much to the pool of names.
