How to get two missed paged of a census indexed?

The United States Census for 1870, for Minnesota>Chisago>Rusheba is missing indexing on two whole pages (census pages #16 & #17, image 9 of 10). It's like the indexer paged forward 2 times and skipped right over it. Is there a contact that can help with this?

When you are on that page, there should be a Feedback button for you to send a note to the appropriate department in FamilySearch.

If there isn't, please repost this query (along with the corresponding url), and any future queries/questions for files that have already been indexed, under the FamilySearch Help - Search category. The Indexing category is for projects that are currently being indexed and is meant to help the volunteers who index them.

    Thanks.

I don't see a feedback button so here is the url https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-6S6S-TTM?i=8&wc=K233-SP8%3A518658101%2C519249001%2C519251901&cc=1438024

No indexes are available for images 9-10. No Feedback button or editing tools available.

Please let SusanTrumble58 know if this is a problem you will forward to the appropriate department to fix or will wait until the US 1870 census is made editable for users.

    Thanks.

@SusanTrumble58 Unfortunately, these records cannot currently be indexed until the new feature to edit every field is applied to this collection. Since do not know when this transition will not happen, we suggest you check back every once in a while. We understand that this is frustrating, and we appreciate your patience until the new editing feature is available. In the mean time, you can attach the record.

Can I use an unindexed image as a source in Family Tree?

How do I create a new source in my source box?

In its current state, not even the "edit everything" tool would help here, as it's unavailable on images that have no index entries associated with them, even if the preceding and following images are indexed and have the new tool available. (For example: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9GBH-691?view=index&groupId=M9S8-QML.)

A similar problem exists with the 1910 Census in Grant Township, Harper, Kansas. The image of a census sheet has not been indexed. See Film #004971454, image #644. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9RNX-81G?view=index&action=view&groupId=TH-1942-22993-30412-38

Is this the correct place to report this error?

@DavidNCraig With the images on both sides being indexed, there is possibly an error in displaying the index on this image. The best option is to report the error using the feedback tab on the left hand side of the record viewer. Click the tab and choose an emoji, then leave a very detailed report and your email address. The team will contact you if they have any questions regarding your report.

As an example here is a possible report with the record title, image group number, image number, and the link to the page.

"There is no index for "Kansas. Census Record Indexes 1910," #004971454, image 644 of 1337, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9RNX-81G"
